Hey, fellow locals! As your local 30A REALTOR, I want to keep you all in the loop about some important local news. Starting on October 23, 2023, we’re going to see some changes on East County Road 30A at Deer Lake.
Walton County Public Works will be temporarily closing the road to work on building a new bridge. This project involves some key tasks like moving utilities, upgrading from the old box culvert to a slick precast concrete bridge, tweaking the road layout, and adding better drainage systems. It’s all part of keeping our area up to snuff! ????
The plan is to get it all done in about 180 days, with the finish line expected sometime in the spring of 2024.
